That is my Friends Garage. He did a 4 wheel track for me. I built the car in a single garage at home!
Just uploading a photo now !
The engine is a bog standard SLi K-series 1.4 @ only 105bhp.

The car was built from scratch by me. It took 6 years to build in my spare time. I work 84 hours most weeks so that is why it took so long. The engine
is a rear mounted transverse K-series 16V 1.4. Could be upgraded. It is a 2 seater in that there is a cramped but comfortable passenger seat behind
the driverseat/rollhoop. I am currently making a fake airbox to cover the passenger seat when not in use. It has inboard suspension front and rear
with unequal wishbones. It has fully adjustable front and rear anti-rollbars. The sidepods house the radiator and battery one side and the petrol tank
and small plumbed in fire extinguisher the other. Brakes are rover discs front and rear via a dual brake adjustable clevis. The hubs are custom made
cast steel from my own pattern. The clutch is a wilwood 'pull' slave and master cylinder instead of cable. Dash is the small spa speedo
and rev counter with full throttle gearchange and shift lights. Gearshift is a is a rod type on the lefthand side using rod ends and 10mm rod.
Bodywork is a mix of some fibreglass panels (long process) and aluminium. I have rushed the aluminium panels to get the car finished, but I intend to
replace these with fibreglass ones after sva. The headlights fold into the nosecone when not in use (manually).
I think that I have covered everything!
I will upload as many photos as I can.
Already planning the next generation, R1 powered with a lighter design.

No all the panels are on dzus fasteners and take about 5-10 minutes to remove. The aerofoils are bolted and take about another 5-10 mins too.

I wasn't clear. What I meant is, when it's being painted, are all the components still mounted on the car. Engine, seat, instruments,
brake lines, that sort of thing.
Also, will you be wearing a helmet? This type layout guarantees you will be hit in the face by rocks kicked up by the front tires when turning.

The chassis is already painted which only leaves the panels to do. The engine, brake bipes etc will not have to come out. And yes, the passenger and I
will be wearing helmets. They are caberg V2's that have internal sun visors like fighter pilots. I have also fitted a noise cancelling comms
system than has auxilary mobile and sat nav inputs. A transceiver can also be plugged in so that I can talk to friends in other cars/bikes etc.

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
