125000 $
That's a nice price ;-)
But even then I would like to congratulate Dennis with his achievement.
I've been following his site for almost 2 years now and I've been enjoying it until now and will be doing the same in the future.

Like he is saying at the end of the second video.
He will need to do something about those brakes.

I have also been following it for years, but haven't heard the roar of BEC in the few years since working on a few Formula SAE cars. I think
I'm going to drop my diesel concept after all... I want a proper sports car, and part of that is the sound.
That sounds bloody fantastic.

that guy is bloody brilliant!
I've been watching for the last few years, and his determniation is one of a kind. there's absolutly nothing cheap about it, but
considering the spec of the car it is a locost.
I wish I could work solid-works like he does.
and yes the garage wouldn't be bad either

That, in fact, is not his garage per se, he's quasi-leased it. Still, his garage at home is not too shabby w/ hydraulic vehicle storage lift,
etc.
Having worked with Pro/E for Formula SAE projects and starting to use SolidWorks, his CAD work is impressive. We were able to do that in 8 months, but
with 25 people working on it 20+ hrs a week with LESS detail.

What impressed me is how well it worked right out of the box. Almost anti-climatic actually. I'll be curious how it works on a big track, which
he writes he'll be running Oct 18.

I wanna see the Stig trash that thing around the Top Gear course. Would be interesting to see where it would end up. And if it's for some reason
not at the very top, you could always return with the V8 version.

Cost for a runner with the v8 will be a cool 125,000 USD. And worth every penny I would bet. 850Lbs and 350Bhp? All wheel drive!!! Whoa nelly!
I'm really looking forward to reading about the full test on the 18th. Wish I could be there.

Ok Thats it I'm going to fit a cammera in the nose of my striker.
that thing is really quick, though I found it hard to believe that he would do 160+ on a stock busa in a car let alone he would get to 180.
nice driving though, if you compare his corner speed compared to the porsche's one, he's constantly holding back till the straight comes
along, very well done!
