Alan, I think that body would look good in any color. Black is exceptionally nice.
But I really want to see what you will be doing with the windshield.

Alan,
My opinion is that black cars look cool/mean/moody in real life, but when appearing in pics you can't really make out the lines.
I think for showing off your baby you should stick to lighter colours. Everyone (nearly) loves a red sports car but what about trying a metallic (Blue
or Silver??)?

Steve, so far the plan is a very short (about 3" tall) full width aeroscreen....out of Lexan...but we'll see I guess...
Thinking of having seven style side supports (alum/chrome/body colour) incorporating mirror brackets...perhaps.....just a thought..

black will look good, though doesn't show the lines very well unless seen in the flesh!
Ned.
beware, I've got yellow skin

Ian, Ned...thanks, good point.
To be honest red is my favourite, although I'm tempted by silver.....someone asked me about black so I played around in paintshop...
You don't want to see some of the colours I did...very lurid...would have you throwing up....

Sorry but I think that the black hides all of the good features of the car It will probably look fab in real life but in the picture it just looks
flat and lifeless.

Red shows it off better!
How about with a full windshield!
I have also modified the front end a bit, supposedly to look like the front in your "Reference" images at bottom of page.

Ah Terry yes, you can see how the screen and faired in hoop make a difference...

Darker colours always seem to show up minor imperfections to a greater degree. I like the red but show us the other colours. Any lime greens, lemon
yellows or fluorescent pinks?.
yours, Pete.
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Alan, it's really looking like the mutt's nuts now. I particularly liked the resplendent purple livery a few threads down. Well done.
Cheers, Rorty.
