RS200 replica chasiss designs
anyone got a set of designs for building a replica? useing north south engine layout, eg audi box or renault.
i'll not sue if it falls to bits

I've often thought about doing this by using a Sierra Cosworth 4x4, running the wrong way round and turning the diffs upside down to get 5
forward gears and not 5 reverse!

but then the split of power would be 33 back and 66 front, unlike the real rs200 were it was 50 front 50 back, could use an east west transaxle in the
north south postion but you would need to change the diff a little, simpley but changeing the crown wheel i quest and the gear on the shaft

I was always under the impression that the Cossie was a 50/50 split. May be wrong though, it has happened before!

as far as i know the serria uses somesort of viscous coupling rather than a diff
