If its FWD...
check the gearbox incase it got damaged when the drive shaft was ripped out.
Not an ideal donor, can't you find something a little less smashed??

you could make a camp fire with the bits that will burn then weigh in the rest as scrap metal?
or strip the car ebay the bits from it and put towards something better

Well if you’re serious about using it as a donor. Why not put a post in the mid engine part off the forum and see if anyone can help you make a
chassis for it.
That is off course if you are allowed to make you own car where you live. I think I would check local regulations first before starting anything.

Sorry about that comment I made Kamikza. It was meant as a joke but really was not at all funny.
Ok, then maybe here is something you and some friends could make. That cars engine and gearbox will go in the back the rest of the bits can come from
scrap cars.
Old steel tube could be used and welded up to make the frame just find someone who could bend tube and weld it. This is about as simple as you can
make a car and it would be a lot of fun and quite fast.
Although instead you could find the worst VW beetle you can and use that as the donor since none of the rusty metal needs to be used…

The original Lotus 7 only had 28hp! - a 1.5 turbodiesel should make more.
You could start with the standard Locost chassis, and convert it to mid-engine by shortening the engine bay, and adding a box frame behind the cockpit
to carry the engine and rear suspension.
Pity you lost the driveshaft and strut, or you could have used those at the rear.
