Mid engined mini questions?????

Just after as much info as possible on fitting an engine in the rear of an original mini shell, any pics links etc will be great. Ive seen the z-cars stuff. I will be doing all the work my self so the more detail the better.

Will it have to be SVA'd when done or can i just mot it and drive?

Just doing research for next project.

Cheers guys.

Strictly speaking you should SVA but might get away with it if you have friendly MOT place, depends on interpretation of "radically altered chassis"

Just thought how about stretching and chopping the body and sticking it on your Mongoose Chassis? that would look very cool specially with Lambo hinges on the doors and GT40 cut out sin the roof so you can get in it!

its certainly no worse than a 7 for inside room, the car was featured in mini world IIRC and the feature is available to download from the mac#1 website, if you send nick a u2u i'm sure he will tell you all about it and i'm pretty sure he's just preping a clubman shell to convert at the moment, Rescued attachment Mini Build pics April 07 017.jpg
