Absolutely delicious, Alan
Has there been a thread describing how you made those uprights (and the fronts)? If so I've missed it, perhaps somebody could post a link.

Are guys allowed to use that word? I though it was right up there with "fabulous." Maybe it's okay over across the pond, where men
are more comfortable with themselves.
Just messing with you.

Very swish. BUT you may want to look at how the handbrake cable goes into the caliper. Hopefully you will be Ok but it looks to me like you may have a
fitting conflict/problem.
If it looks wrong it probably is wrong.

I think I see what you mean looking at pictures, but I do have clear access for the cable into the bracket....a better picture would show it....thanks
for the observation.
Thanks all for the positive comments

John, I'm sure there have been mentions on some other threads, but no specific threads that I'm aware of (and I should know I guess). The
basic concept of the front and rear uprights is to use a self contained hub/wheel bearing unit that can be used either as driven (in the rear) or free
running in the front. The ones I chose were the US Chevy Cavalier unit (same bolt circle as the new beetle etc, so handy for the rear discs/calipers).
This is then bolted to a CNC plasma cut fabricated upright, giving an all new, yet cheap assembly suitable for any rear drive set up.
Disclaimer....just back from my local bar (Fozzie and Paul, yes the Sugar Shack, Jen says Hi) so please interpret accordingly..
