Road Legal At Last!!
Well, after seven months of lying under the car in the cold, wet and rain, we finally headed off to the MOT centre tonight and well... it sailed
through!!! I've just added a Youtube video to show it drives and makes that classic A Series sound. So thanks for all the help and advice you
guys have given me, this is a great place to talk and grow.
Might see you at the next show or meeting near to Essex?

Looking at the video, it just seemed to take a while to get going from reversing out of the drive.

It was only the second time I'd driven it and was trying to get first while the engine was idling really low.
As for why LHD, it was an early Smart, all pre 2002 ForTwo's are LHD, plus the drivers seat is lower and further back as apposed to the later
RHD which uses the LHD shell. It's to do with offsetting the occupants in the cabin, so as not to collide "in the event". Strangly,
both seats are lined up in my car?
