What Engine? cant decide.
Ive just sold the ZX10 motor i had fitted to my Mongoose as i got bord of the idea of using a bike engine.
Im tempted to go for the K-series that the car was built to take but would like more power, best i can get from a stock VVc is 160bhp. What engines
are out there that are light but have a good power figure and dont cost the earth.
Suggestions will be nice and i may still go back to bike power but not sure tbh.

ive no idea what it weighs, Id prefer to use an all alloy engine like the k-series, Even thinking of putting an eaton m45 charger on one to crack
200bhp and still be under 450kgs all in.

How much does that cost, then?

i know a sylva riot has been fitted with one - easily upped to 250 bhp .
all aluminium engine etc etc , you may get greedy and want to fit 5 or 6 cylinders !

I would go for a honda b16a2 engine. Cheap little engines with 160 hp.
Something like this:

I think the seller needs to make himself clear, because he is saying that the auction is for the engine only. If it is, then the fact that the ecu is
chipped is irrelevant.
