A friend of mine wants a gearbox to take drive from 2 blackbird engines,with output to a rear axle,its not for the road,no reverse needed,anyone got something or can point us in the right direction.Different subject, I am after uprated clutch springs for a gsxr 1000.Also a reverse sprocket to use on a starter.Any thoughts welcome.Thanks.

Could this be a diif in reverese?
ie 1 engineoutout to each driveshaft flange and the prop flange the outrput to? anotjher diff or driveline?
Im thinking that the diffiness wouold iron out any rev mismatch?

The engines come with a gearbox each
What your talking about is an input box which will have 2 in 1 out to the diff
If designed properly it could negate the need for the expensive long diffs and allow you to run the cheaper ones
Would suggest looking at Sierra Cosworth 7 ½" as it will take more torque or BMW
Autograssers have been doing it for years.
Look up berrisford or DRD or ARD racing one of them should be able to help.

Zcars made the first twin engine cars think it was a westfield so try them
Its not the twin gear box its the engine timing that causes the problems
Given the well recorded tendency for blackbird engines to fail in bike engined cars, do you think putting 2 in is a good idea?

Wouldn't you have to run one of the engines backwards?!
bloke fixing my diff last week had an autograss mini with 2 bike engines in the back. one was the same way round as the bike behind the drivers seat,
the other was turned 180deg. and mounted further back on the passenger side.
they where connected up to something like in that link above.
the grasstrack cars all run chains,these engine have to be fitted like the tiger with prop to rear,probably pricey but that looks the only waywith twin front and a live rear,its for a stockcar in an open formula,the lad in question has run a blackbird and they are fine,he only turns left...
