Seems a shame to trash a car in good condition thats getting rare.

When I had my donor delivered, they could not believe I was gonna trash it. 1 owner for last 12 years, one the year before, fully serviced 75k miles and 10 months MOT.


Mk2 escorts are gonna be worth a fortune in the future due to all those killed off by kit cars!

Looks like you made a good move.

If I was building a proper locost from scratch that would be my ideal donor.

I have the log book for mine with the owner of 10+ years address on it.

I was thinking of sending him a pic of the car when its done - as a suprise.

The car came from an auction, so hes got no idea of where it went.

My mate bought a Vauxhall Shovit from a bloke because it had a 2.1 tuned pinto on 40's in it... He was a bit sad that his lovely project was going on and asked for pics of the car because he did'nt have any....

I was tempted to send him some pictures of us Cutting off the front end with a large disc cutter - ripping the engine out then rolling the remains on its room to access the underside.
