What clutch cable is used with the Velocity XT using a type 9 box?

Went for a blat today and it snapped where its fixed through the pinch bolt at the pedal Things never go wrong on the drive or close to home

I used a mk2 Escort one on my locost which works fine . You can check the length of your cable and look at Burtonpower catalogue to see which you have . When fitting DO NOT overtighten the pivot bolt.

I assume you are talking about over tightening the pinch bolt?

Yes , I used 2 nuts locked together after taking up the slack in the bolt. Might also be worth checking the cable has a straight run from the bulkhead to the pivot point?
