Ho hum I'm in a state, I just thought I'd post about today and put the title in then hit enter, hence this is in 'edit'.

Well I've just come back from the post orifice, sorry, post office. Into the post I put a large envelope, containing a covering letter, cheque (signed, the wife confirmed this when I got home), SVA1, Amateur built declaration, photocopied Receipts (certified), photocopy of original log book (with covering letter to certify/explain purchase and ownership of vehicle with location of original purchase and trading address of where purchased through (this is verifiable with phonecall). And a Cd with copies of ALL my build photos.

I think that covers everything.

I have never felt so nervous as I do now.

Oh and V627/1

ARRRRRRGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

Funnily enough when I was about 8 or 9 I did bite a bullet, I took some spent 303 browning rounds that my dad had brought home with him during one of his home leaves (war time) (bullet and casing) to school to show other kids in the playground. I couldn't get one of the bullets out of the casing with my fingers so I held the bullet with my teeth an pulled the casing.

I STILL have the chipped edges to my upper two front teeth and one of my lower teeth.

I remember when me and a pal got hold of one of his dads shotgun cartridges. We put it in the vice in his garage and whacked at it with a ball-peen hammer to see if we could set it off... we knew nothing about compression at that age (we were 10).

We also knew nothing about common-sense and safety either!

Well done Clive, good luck with it.

I second that, well done, again. It is a great day and I'm sure your car will do you proud. Then the fun starts on the road, bring it on I say and then get driving and smiling.

NeilP - 22/2/09 at 03:54 PM

Are you ever gonna be pleased when it's on the road - as are we...

bob - 22/2/09 at 04:01 PM
