For various reasons I have declared the Viento SORN .

Hope to be back on the road for Stoneleigh next year.

various reasons include...

hope nothing bad!!

Decided to ge fuel injection at last.

two years running a carb, now planning...

Thor manifold
changing the single throttle body for twin throttle bodies

this involves upgrading the fuel pump and changing fuel lines from rubber to copper tube + a fuel retun line.

Then making a new bonnet (after last years little mishap.)

Then new brake pads ( willwood samrt pads are C**p)

Then loosing some weight from car ( and Me!)

+ some cosmetic paint.

Then a custum made areoscreen.

I have pushed my luck abit driving the car recently and the westfield crash helped me make the decision to take a break from driving and to go back to building for a while.

also going to make some more progress on the Terrapin single seater - started the chassis and building a 998cc mini engine.

so lots to do.

all sounds pretty damn good to me.

The westfield incident certainly makes one reflect.
