I have a qustion :
there is no law in Russia about kit-cars registretion. What about it in Englang(UK)?

Depends, building locost like yours we either retain a year related plate same as the donor, or if there is no donor documents we get a Q (stuck with the car, non transferable)

Or build a car with all new parts and g et a new current reg ie: 09 at the moment.

Have you kept the reg off the lada?

You are lucky then! We have lots of rules and laws about building cars and also a government organisation the DVLA that doesn't seem to have clue about understanding even there own rules!!

Our cars have to take what's called a IVA, used to be called the SVA test and this is designed to ensure the car is safe to go on the roads, this test/check is done by another government organisation called VOSA who to be honest are very good.

Its a shame to two organisations seem unable to talk to each other though.

Just to check - are you asking about registration because you do not know how to register your car in Russia, or are you saying you do not need to, because there is no law there?

I bet places like caterham will know the laws in russia - a lot of caterhams sell to other countries - a big chunk of their business is now exports.

If you emailed them, or called up and said you wanted to build a caterham in russia and register it in your country - is this possible? They might know?
