These Laser cut articles came with my Luego Viento kit. They are about 5mm thick and powered coated black. What are they?

rear brake caliper mounting brackets -possibly

think they are used to convert rear drum brakes to disk brakes BUT 3/4 of the way throught a bottle of red wine so not 100%

I have mounted the rear calipers. Perhaps they are for drums then. Red wine on a Tuesday school night? If that was me I'd have a thumping head tomorrow. Cheers for the advice!

They are for mounting the rear calipers on the drum brake hubs. If you already have disc brakes then you don't need them.

I think Scootz was looking for some a couple of days ago ......

scootz - 2/2/10 at 10:32 PM

Yup... I'll have 'em if they're surplus to requirements!

Beer tokens waiting!

Irony - 2/2/10 at 10:35 PM

scootz - 2/2/10 at 10:40 PM

And winner of todays 'Fortuitous Bugger award' is... SCOOTZ!

Irony - 2/2/10 at 10:46 PM

All I need now is someone who has some Rover V8 Viento engines mounts and doesn't know what they are and doesn't need them
