I am going to fit a new set for the next IVA attempt and try to bed them in a bit prior to the test- the set I currently have on are 5 yrs old and bog
standard- anyone recommend a brand that works well for fast road and don't take a age to warm up?
Thanks
Try EBC, they have an advice line which will sort you out.
Also, you should delete this thread and put it in the running Gear section, the problem isn't unique to Vientos
Hi I would say fit mintex 1144 pads.
I have just ditched my greenstuff pads as useless and fitted mintex 1144. Totally transformed and obvious from the first time I touched the brake pedal 50 yards from my front door. Have done trackdays since and they work better and better, just great. I think the greenstuff pads just never got hot enough to work in a light car like a seven. Mintex worked from the get go long before they were bedded in. And no squealing.
Dusty thanks- I was suspicious about green stuff not getting hot enough....
Dumb Question, where can one get these 1144 pads from?
Most places just say Front pads for Sierra 1800, and the year span, etc etc.
Cheers
