Not quite a Velocity?

Hi

I bought a Luego chassis, when they first stared doing IRS, and so it uses shortened rear sierra drive shafts to give the right track to use with cortina front uprights (unlike the Velocity).

The thing is, I cant remember what length the rear shocks have to be for this set up?! Does anyone know?

Also how would I work out what spring rates i would need to use with a fireblade engine, now that I am planning on using Protect dampers (I hear that they need different spring rates as they have mono-tube internals??? - please correct me if I am wrong)

Thanks

Sam

i dont know much about shockers but i cant see why they would need different spring rates. surely they are adjustable in length by an inch at least?

Call Luego and ask them, they are usually very helpful and will be able to tell you

Darren @ gts is very knowledgable about shocks as he makes his own. if you get stuck i'm sure he could help/advise..

Ned.

Hi

I called Luego today, and it turns out that I will need 12" dampers as I have a Velocity, but NOT a Velocity XT which has slightly different IRS.

Yeah I might speak to Darren as im not really sure what spring rates to go for.

Thanks

Sam
