Harnesses for Viento
ChrisW - 2/7/04 at 12:26 PM

Has anyone bought harnesses for their Viento other than the Luego supplied ones? Which ones did you go for? I've been offered a pair second hand but I'm worried the shoulder straps will be too long.

Any comments/suggestions on this topic?

i wouldnt buy 2nd hand harnesses.
do you know the history of the harnesses have they been involved in an accident etc before. what price do you put on your own safety ?

Good point! But in any case, do I need to buy special harnesses for the Viento? I assume the shoulder straps on a 'hatchback' style harness would be too long as they normally go down to the rear seat belt mounting points?

Demon Tweeks do a good range - I would of thought that any which fit a Caterham / Westie would do - I bought a pair of Willans 4 points from Demon Tweeks for my Velocity and they fit ok....

There's quite a lot more space behind the seats in a Viento than in a Velocity tho. I'm a bit worried the harnesses might end up too tight
