Gently bedded them in and all seemed fine so gave the car a quick blast – not other cars around – and put the brakes on hard. Slowed down from 70 ish to 40 nicely and then realised I had lost all power. Engine had cut out.
Coasted over to the side of the country road and pulled up on the verge. Got out and burnt both my legs on the hot exhaust.
Car turned over but would not start.
Ahh realised the new fuel inertia cut off switch for the injection pump had activated – seems very sensitive.
On to the MOT
Tester puts the reg details in and says – Oh no emissions details so its just a smoke test then.
Passed MOT so now just need to do some runs mapping the Megasuirt.
