What size fan would you recommend for a 2L Pinto? Looking at a few websites today there are a wide variety available.

They also look a bit pricey to buy new as well so any suggestions for donors to pinch one off will be appreciated.

Just look in any scrappy for a suitable sized cart to grab one off. Pick something common like a Mondeo or Vectra et al, Most of them come with something resembling a helicopter main rotor attached to an electric motor, they'll do fine (and they are cheap 'n easy to get replacements for).

diesels tend to have nice big radiators with appropriately sized fans surrey dave has recently fitted a polo rad and used a renault 21 diesel rad from a scrappy, looks ok to me.
