Hi Guya and Gals,
Well its taken me 5 years worth of saving and convincing my wife to let me buy my dream car!!
I set myself out what I wanted from my Locost and finaly found the exact one.
So a big thanks to James who sold it too me.
Its a BEC CBR 1000 locost
I'm based in Hertfordshire near St Albans and looking to do some meets etc any idea where these are?
My little one likes it!
PS Be nice!

You've got to start them young!!!
Oli
Can you put your approx location in your profile, its helps in all sorts of ways. eg people offering help or parts etc..
I also echo the "Take it easy" comment.
These cares are immense fun. However, its that time of the year, and they dont like damp roads.
Also watch out for damp patches, where the sun may not have dried the road out. ie hedges and trees sheltering the road.
The cars have massive performance, and its easy to lose the back end in the wet, or even in damp conditions. Just take is nice and steady and learn
how you car drives.
The hold the road like poo to a blanket, and then suddenly they let go, and usually big time.
We have seen this several times with drivers who are new to these cars.
So please take extra care for a few months, before using its full potential.
Welcome to the forum..

Hi
The car looks great. I'm fairly close to you but haven't had much of chance to get out in the car this year. Maybe next year will be
better!
Are you planning any track days?
Stu
It will be taken slowly!
I don't want to track it any time soon! I can't risk it. Both personally and financially! I should be racing the élan next year. So I want
to wait for that.
Thanks for your advice guys. Really appreciate it!
It's great to have a nice welcome
Oli
BTW... the SG7 lot are a nice friendly bunch even if you are not local to SG!!
They always made me n Rusty Nuts welcome, even when I won a bottle of scotch in their raffle!
Cheers
Welcome to the bestest forum on t'internet.
I'm up in letchworth. There are a good few kits in town and a bunch out and around the area. Another vote for the SG7s on the first Sunday of the
month.
Must be my turn to win the raffle soon
Might have to go down on Sunday!
Looking forward to it! Anyone else going?
Oli
I will probably make an appearance, quite likely to be on the pushbike though, trying to get out on it as much as possible lately
Just to make sure, impretty sure its not this sunday, its the following one
Yes you would be correct on that one!
