Having bought my Velocity third-hand it came with an odd assortment of bits 'n bobs. One of these was a pair of winscreen brackets which look liek factory items but are made of 4-5mm steel sheet and weigh a tonne. The ones I have seen in piccies of Luego products look like they are ali, can anyone confirm/deny please?

Mine are stainless steel, same as on luego show car? Nice and solid but take a little patience to shape to scuttle. Well pleased with mine, can't remember how much they cost though. Rusty

I believe they do both steel and Ali ones according to their price list

I have seen the Ally ones at Luego, about 5mm Ally, and very sturdy.
I havent even thought about that part... I'm Still making the Garage Door! Frame welded up last week.. Need to make the hinges and hang it this weekend and fill in the outside / Skin.

Yes Luego do a pair of ali windscreen supports, i have a pair, look great polished up!

i also think that this because you need to modify them and ali is better to modify as Steel..
