Ive got the standard ali fuel tank with a 51mm pipe and a fuel cap that has a fitting that is 54mm.
Now its all in place I'm struggling to get a filler hose to connect the two.
Has anyone got any ideas or experience of where to get some thing to do the job.
The cap is in the parcel shelf about 200mm to the right of the tank fitting.

Best to ring and explain rather than use the website, though

How much vertical room have you got? I would have thought that there wasn't any room for an offset. The 2 inch fuel filler pipe I have is steel
wire reinforced and thereby very stiff - I had to arrange my filler to be directly above the neck on the tank. Best option I think, would be to move
the fill point - what material is the boot cover?

Phil,
I used two 90deg elbows and an aluminum tube to join them and I got them from demon-tweeks. I did have a filler with the same diameter as the tank
though.
What ever you do make sure the pipe doesn't go up hill at any point from filler to tank or you can spend 10 mins filling the tank with £15 of
Optimax.. Very embracing.
Paul.
Can't move the filler as it would be in the removable lid, besides thats where they are in all the velocity's i have seen hence I was hoping
someone knew where to get something to connect the 2.
Cheers Doofus i will have a look in their cataloge
