Do Luego produce (or have any plans to produce) Zetec engine mounts for their chassis? This would save us a lot of hassle. Nothing mentioned on the web site, but maybe it is in the pipeline?

Hi Stuart, regards to the Z-Tec engine mounts, at present we do not have any designed, however with the launch of the new Luego-Velocity (IRS fully bracketed, with floor Chassis and re-engineered fibre glass) next year. At that time we will have some on the shelf. So if you are not in a rush hang fire. Regards Grant.

How different are the Luego-Locost I.R.S and the Luego-Velocity?

The Luego Velocity is the IRS version of the Locost with re-designed wishbones for the Sierra front uprights, full-length side panels with folds. We have had a total re-design of the fibreglass to take the Pinto engine etc. I trust this has cleared up any confusion. Cheers Grant.

Thanks Stu, might have been interested but they are a little on the pricey side (and we already have the mount rubbers and stuff). Have found a friend of a friend that is willing to make them for us, but obviously the problem with that is the design and measurements. We will get there.... eventually!
