Could someone confirm that it is a Escort Steering rack for the Viento and what year it is.

I've just fitted an Escort Mk2 rack to mine. seems to be the correct one. Used Luego's extensions on the end befor fitting the tie rod ends to the rack.

Originally fitted it with Polyurethane mounting bushes but I think I will change them next week to rubber as they seem VERY hard.

Escort Rack is OK, but for the Viento you need Luego's Extensions.

I think you need the Mk2 escort rack, not sure, but I think Mk1 is imperial, and mk2 metric, but not 100% sure.

As said, mk2 is the one as mk1 is imperial and all the FWD Escort racks turn the wrong way.
