Anybody any idea which way these go on as the ones I have are different to what's shown in build manual

Long sloping edge to the front or rear??

Cheers

Darren

Either way.

Depends if you want the calipers forwards or backwards.

I placed mine with the long sloping edge to the rear so that the callipers are at the front of the hub carrier.

reason why - dont realy know, but the disc shot in the build manual on CD has them this way round. ( you need to enhance the image to see this)

Most have the Calipers on the front side, ie upside down.
This makes them hard to Bleed. (Take them off Bleed right way up, and refit upside down)

However, the Handbrake cables run much smoother with the calipers on upside down.
Sierra normaly has the handbrake cable very low down. however Locost Velocity Viento etc, has the cables coming out High, ie Over the Diff, then they would have to Dive down Under the hubs to get to the attachment point if the calipers were the right way up.

So... Bleed them properly,as you dont do it very often, but you would use the handbrake all the time!
