What lengths of braided hoses have people used on the locost and velocity?
Im after buying mine ready for when my hubs etc on on.
MIne a live axle locost BTW.
I have independant rear on my Velocity and am not sure if this makes a differnece but I have just fitted 70cm hoses on the front and 50cm on the rear.
IRS shouldnt make a difference in length as the brakes are effectively in the same position. I stand corrected on this though.
70 seems a touch on the long side?
Oops sorry!! Not sure why I thougt 70cm on the front have just measured them and the are 50cm as well.
Ah I have the short ones on the front and the Long on the back.. What is the correct way round?. My front ones turn from lock to lock and barely snag
on anything... the long ones at the back can be hidden up so wont look bad as if the were on the front and then trying to loose the slack.
I have made mine up, and they are both approx 500mm long give or take 20mm
Thanks lads. Wheres the best place to get em?
got me braided hose from local pressure hose company 2 metres for approx £6 and got all the end fittings from BURTONS at about £2 per end- good value
i reckon for 4 brake flexis!!
cheers Colin
I have a set of velocity goodridge hoses from Luego that i'm not going to use. 2 long (57cms approx) and 2 short (50cm approx)
Should be right length have fittings on ends but no banjos or washers
Send me U2U if you would like to purchase
