Route of loom / pipes
Steve Lovelock - 12/9/05 at 07:50 PM

Hi,

Just about to fit the loom and the pipes in the transmission tunnel and was wondering if everybody sticks the suggestions of Luego. I ask this because the project build in Which Kitcar mag said that he moved them to a different location. This is the Velocity.

Cheers

Keep the petrol pipe as far away from everything else... especially the electrical loom.
A lot depends on where your tank outlet is, and where the filter / pump is and its relation to the engine... Sit and think a lot before you actually do anything.. saves you doing it twice!

Well, I haven't decided what engine and tank to use yet so that will be difficult. I was planning to follow the Luego recommendations but thought I'd double check first.

Not sure if Luego have suggested it, or if its possible with and plugs etc on.

But some conduit or plastic trunking might not be a bad idea,
then the wireings protected and you can get additional wires through if you need them when its all built

I have followed theirs is most places.
There are loads of pics of the runs on my website (see below) That may help. I had no problems at SVA only compliments
