What do you jack up on?

I'm just about to put the car on its wheels for the first time. However, I am a little curious about where I can put a trolley jack without chipping off the powder coating. How do I jack up the front end without damaging it?

Under the front crossmember with a bit of wood on the jack.

Tape plenty of sponge to the head of your trolley jack

I've got some squares of rubber that I put between the jack head and chassis.

I zip tied a pair of old pants to the head of my trolley jack
