Is it time for a Viento owners group/club - can't be that many of us out there...

Mike ( building Viento) and I (building Velocity XT) will be there in the tin tops.

Good idea, I am going but not sure which days, and may camp over night. as Its a big show. Didnt realise how big the owners area was until I was driving out the gate, and it was too late by then.

All Up for a meetin / beer even if its only 1 pint.

I suggest we decide on a where and when for each day, as not everyone will be going on the same day. Also HOW to Recognise each other. As we all know each other via the forum, but dont know what we look like!.

ie yeah... Meet in the bar at 12:00, but so will 150 other people!

Isn't there more than one bar at Stoneleigh? Those taking a luego are you parking in the Luego's Owners Club parking or in the camping area? My car will be there if I can get it MOT'ed this week. This will be my first MOT - any advice? Thanks, hope to see you all there.

You guys will of course be welcome in the mk/locost area. will be quite a few forum and car owners camping. come and say hello! i think the only luego owners i know/have met are finlay, chrisw, geoff and adz but all are welcome to share a beer or 5

I should be there on Sunday and will call into the bar around 12.00. Although like others not sure how I will recognise other velocity/viento builders.

How about a pink carnation, well it works in old movies. Seriously how about meeting in the Luego club area at a set time?

luego club area would make sense - then a pilgrimage to the bar me thinks !

Why not Luego club area both days (Sunday / Monday) at say 2pm. the problem with bars is there are more than one and how do we identify each other?

Did anyone find the Luego club area ? I stayed on the locost site with a couple of other Luego owners. Made really welcome by everyone and had a good time . So for all you other Luego orphans you could do a lot worse if
want to join.

Went to Stoneleigh and only found one Viento! Lots of suppliers sorry to hear of Luego's demise and offering to help source bits.!

Was it the yellow one on the locost site? there was another there yesterday owned by the guy that won a kit for naming the car .

I meet the chap with the yellow Viento.
And saw the blue one.

I was there in my wifes Fiesta

Was made most welcome by the Locost chaps.. and the MK boys.
MK boys had a good Club Spirit.... they all went to refuel their pocket rockets together in convoy. Good one!!

not being rude, but did anyone on here actually organise/arrange the luego club area? - i suspect luego won't have done it so if no one else did that might explain it if it wasn't there/couldn't be found.

Hopefully my replacement V8 should be sorted by the time Newark comes around. If so I'll be there with the Viento (unless it persists it down!!!!)

I was at Stoneleigh. Tried to find the Luego owner's club ... Found a couple of guys at the Locost area. Cheers for the tips and pointers rusty & smurf. I hope the driver's seat went in easier than the passenger's!
