Velocity for Track Day use, how do you rate them?

Hi all,
What are these cars like on the track? how do they compare to MK and Mac1's.

Honest answers please.

Cheers, Andy

I would say that it's probably impossible to answer that question as there are so many variations of each make. Different set-ups, engines, etc etc...

Also does it really matter? If you fancy doing track days just do it and have a ball!! You can then compare your car to everyone elses if you feel the need.

Donut,

Thanks for the reply, your right and I will, just drive it and I will enjoy it.

I've built 3-4 cars so far, No1 was the first MK Indy to be SVA'd and with a Blade engine. No2 was a Sylva Striker Pinto, then changed to a Zetec 1800 with throttle bodies. No 3 was a MK with a Faser engine(I did not finish it due to other things getting in the way) I also bought a blue MK with a crossflow, changed that to a Blade and used that for track days. I current use a e30 BMW 325 for track days and I loved driving them all.

The question was not a loaded one, I was trying to get a genuine appraisal of the cars chassis. I appreciate it was maybe a clumsy way of asking.

Now, do I install the supplied Zetec or go the bike engined route again.

Cheers, Andy

Andy - given how fast you drove mine round Elvington, - go with the Zetec! with that extra weight I may have a chance of keeping up with you then
