I have Cortina MK3 hubs on a velocity, obviously the lower balljoints are std cortina but what do peps use for the tops.

Drag link is from early transit with steering box, before rack and pinion was invented Don't order a pair as you need two right hand thread ones.

a) The top ball joint is Transit rod end (both r/hand thread)

I brought them top ball joints but there too big and don't fit... maybe my hubs are mk2 or even mk1 anyone know which ones i should use... bit stuck now

also the balljoint has an internal thread as does the luego arm.. how do you join the two... is it just a simple bit of bar or am i missing something :~

You've got the wrong thing there, I don't know what it is but it's not a drag link coupling. They are m18x1.5 male thread. Look at the picture on here it's the thing next to the nosecone. Whereabouts are you? Cortina Mk1and MkII were McPherson strut so you've not got them.
