...how much quicker a Viento comes together than trying to build from scratch. After spending 4 days or so out in the garage I'm far further
ahead with the build than I was after 18 months on the book. I'm not surprised at all that it would be quicker but I am amazed about how quickly
the build moves forward.
Chris
well if those 18months were spent on the chassis it's not suprising, seeing as you can buy a chassis and save yourself all that hastle straight
away!
Andrew.
ps i haven't forgotten i owe you £20 chris.
Chris,
I did hear that Mark Evans and his team (Sky - A Racecar/Sportscar is Born (not sure what it was called)) managed to build a W/field in a week.
Another three days and you'll be off to the SVA Centre then?
Glad your impressed.

I dare say that if we all had the time/space/money/equipment available to us that Mark Evans did in that program then we would all be going for SVA in three days!!! (although how many of us would wimp out and build the Westie?)
That series is on Discovery Home and Leisure at the moment (6pm & 7pm on +1).
It's interesting to note that whenever he needs extra hands to lift something, it's always the same people that he talked to in the
Westfield factory...
I reckon that his workshop was very close to the Westfield buildings!
David
apparently when he built the sumo - it was next door to their factory ......
so how far you got chris?i might pop round monday and annoy your cat
I'll be at work Monday. How about Sunday? I need to get that 4x4 next really - drove past the other day and it's still there.
Chris
