Took my Viento out for over 120 miles today, just to give it a good run. All went well and seemed to handle ok , although it felt a little nervous
aboves 60 if the road was Uneven.
I had the front set with little camber and only 2mm toe in.
Is this what others are doing, how much negative camber have people been setting for the front wheels and does corner weighting make a big
difference.
Also noticed that its pretty high geared with 2500 revs at 60 in top, pulls ok but maybe a little high , may look for a 3.9 LSD to lower the gearing a
bit.
Great day although a little cool when i got home a 6pm.
I set 30° toe in, 30° neg camber on the offside, and 45° on the nearside (remember normal roads have a camber built in), 5°30' castor both sides, ride height to 4" front and 4 1/2" rear. Drives like a tight production car, never nervous, really happy with the setup.
Mark I think you have got the degrees and minutes symbol mixed up.

I think you may need to check for bump steer if it feels nervous at speed on uneven road surfaces.

Luego Locost, 5.1/2 deg castor, 1 deg negative camber both sides, about 2 mm toe-in, 4" front and 4.1/2" rear ride heights. Set up at home
with basic equipment. 500miles on the clock now and its feels very nice on any road surface, not nervous at all.

Might seem a daft suggestion, but are your tyre pressures a bit high. My Viento is set up similar to yours but was also a little skittish at speed
until I lowered the tyre pressures to 18/20 psi. Solid as a rock now.
Cheers

Mine was skittish at speed, I reduced my tyre pressure to 24psi, and it made a huge improvement. I still need to go a bit lower, but am being
cautious, wil drop it another couple of PSI soon.
I set my toe in/out to straight. It drives OK, but I still need to set up all the suspension yet. Stiil it handles pretty good as is.
It don't go round roundabouts as well as mine!
