After our chat at Brands today, I have dug out what shocks and springs I have.
This is what I have on my Viento with the Rover V8 up front.
14" shock on the front with 9" springs of 350Lb rating.
Rear are 13" shocks with 8" 225Lb springs.
All were 2-1/4" dia Gaz shocks.
Lots of people have only 1.9" diameter shocks, However, I got mine cheap off Ebay. and so far there have been no problems. They are very close
to the top wishbones, but dont actually touch
They are definately not set up correctly, and that needs that doing. However, it seems to be OK as it is, I just could get it better if it was set up
properly

Geoff . I've got some set up gear if you have a flat surface
Cheers... I will see how level the garage floor is. I would appreciate a hand... or more someone to look over my shoulder while do it. !!.
I am sure a beer or two could be arranged!
If its flat under the Car port, it will be dry as well.. and the wife serves up tea in a special Mug that never seems to be empty
I am going to Santa Pod this after noon and hope to get a blat down the strip. £10 to get in and £20 for as many runs as you can get in. Paper
printout given as well.
I got a spare seat if you want to come. or bring the Locost. Going with a mate and his 180Bhp Metro. Its not all High BHP.. many dont run a lot of
power and just go for a day out and their personal bests even if its a 17Secs 1/4mile.
thanks for getting back to us with info... will let me dad know ur stuff.
we had a bit of a look today & he's doin some 'research' into maybe getting bigger springs?! we think the weight isnt the issue,
but could do with being an inch longer?!?.. anyway the whole things too bludy confusing so leaving me dad 2 come up with the answer... dod you so to
santa pod then? how dya get on?
