Cars up on the ramp for the winter and the insurance ! Stripping the oily bits and noticed a big dent in my sump. Wondered about fitting using this as an excuse to get a street rod sump from the states with higher capicity and traps and reduce the sleeping policeman issues I currently face with ground clearance. Thought it would also offer me the opportunity to upgrade the oil pump from the standard to a high performance pump.

Since fitting the engine I've added an oil cooler and sandwich plate so it could do with a bit more flow.

Will fitting a new pump cause issues ?
