Sh*te... your'e a TIDDLER...
My Viento weighs in at 840Kgs empty.

They you add me and my 19 yr old boy.. That adds another 254 Kg's. Thats One THIRD the weight of the car AGAIN. Making the rolling car over a TON at 1094 Kgs.

Pah!... TIDDLERS!...

Wait a Minute.... Think of the Performance incease I could get if I kicked my boy out, and lost 8 stones. Big performance increase, AND save money, by eating less, and no extra stress on the engine by unnecessary Tuning

I do chuckle at some of the people on this forum who worry about a kg here and there, and later on admit to being WAY overweight!

I'm not going to worry about the weight of my car (600kg) until I get my own weight down to where I want it to be (another 8 - 10kg to go).

I am whats more commonly known as a BFB or a BFUB by some...

and I still cared about the weight of my car to a point!

Mine weighs in at 449kilos with 7 litres of fuel (and obv water/oil).

and yes, I am on a (tiny bit) of a diet!

Im confused as too where all that weight came from, have you checked it on any other scales?

Its a BEC as well, which freaks me out because I was aiming to have my CEC weighing in a bit lower than that! ( Aluminium engine and tranny by the way, im not crazy )

How much do your wheels weigh do you think?

It's all that stainless steel that's making it fat.

Mate, are you sue that the scales you used are in calibration??

My Hayabusa Velocity comes in under 500Kg's and there's not much difference in spec between the two - I have an alloy tank and a bike battery and stuff but I too have a steel floor and cobra seats, but I don't have wilwood calipers or anything...

Geoff - You didn't by a Viento to go on a diet!!! Perfect chassis for gentlemen of a more generous beam and their daft engines

Mhh i don't know.

the weigh bridge was a big one sow maybe not sow good for this type of car.

i parked it guite in the middle.

Maybe that kind of weigh bridge has a minimum of 580Kg....

and between 300 and 580 it marks 580 dunno. 90Kgs isn't detected.
