Just after anyones opinion on the Viento handling. What have people got their caster and camber etc set. I have the original Luego settings but the
car seems very nervous at the mo. - Tyre pressure set at around 28psi with dampers set + 3 notches on the front and 8 notches on the rear. (seems a
wee bit soft on the back somehow) - Springs are Luego spec.
Also,
As I'm a bit of a lanky sod (6ft odd) I have an issue with the driving position, If I move the seat back to required setting (i.e for pedals) the
steering wheel is miles away (and no I don't have short arms). This I see leaves:-
Move pedal box further back (prob not an option)
Find some way of extending steering wheel further forward (was there ever a variant in the sierra for a column adjustable forwards and back - the one
I have at the moment is adjustable in height only) - can other columns be fitted?
Any thoughts?

i moved a steering wheel forward once. You need to look at the bracketry underneath the scuttle, and also see how much overlap there is in the
triangular bit at the bottom of the column. You might scavange an inch here. If thats not enough, you will either have to make a longer downlink or
find a longer column.
Regarding tyres, i ran mine at 16psi, i appreciate you have low profile tyres and a heavier engine but that may be too high - or it may be the big
wheels and low sidewalls!
Im not sure you can compare clicks effectively as they are likely to be different from damper to damper (according to those who know more than me!).
Can't you just buy a steering wheel spacer to bolt in between your hub and steering wheel, maybe even a quick release one to aid entry and exit.
I fitted one like this
The cossie steering column is adjustable for in/out and up/down.
Mine gives approx 2-3 inches of movement if that helps any.

Can't help with Viento settings but my Luego Locost has 4.5degrees castor, 0.5 degrees neg camber front and rear . 1 mm toe in .Tyre pressures 16psi springs 300lb front and 150 lb rear . Since sorting out the suspension crush tubes ride is firm but compliant and sticks like the proverbial . Not at all nervous. Might pay to perhaps soften tyres and back off damper settings initially and go from there one stage at a time. I found setting the corner weights a big help .

I have Spax adjustables all round on my Viento 250lb on front and 200 on rears, Compomotive 15" wheels with 8j on rear and 7j on fronts.
I do not find it nervous to drive at all, its a little hard on the rear end but the front is fine (even thou a very heavy engine fitted)
Does tend to go sideways around roundabouts if too much gas!!
I find it sticks to the road very very well and love drivin it!!
Havent had me suspension set up properly yet either
tyre pressures are about 20 in fronts and 18 in rears.

Still getting mine ready for SVA but am concerned about the rear springs. I have 200's fitted on the rear ( not sure of length ) but they seem
either a little short or a little soft - was thinking about changing them to either 250 or 300. What do people thinK.
