I was just wondering as a friend of mine is building the narrow track version,he is wondering why the indy type track is now being used thats all.
I didn't realise the Indy was wider than the Velocity? I think it's purely to give the builder more choice - a mid point between the
standard track Velocity and the 'big all over' Viento. Apparently it handles better too but I guess I'll find out on Wednesday.

The Indy isnt wider than the velocoity, well not any more.
must just be to do with handling then, take S##t loads of pics chris.
From what they told me when I visited the factory it is merely to eliminate the hassle of sourcing shortened Sierra driveshafts to fit the narrow track Velocity, with the added spin-off bonus of improving the handling due to the wider track dimensions. Handy for me as it means I've got a bit more cockpit room for my 6ft 5in 15 stone bulk!
Are we just talking +4"?
If so a source of bodywork for us wider builders....
standard width body, longer wishbones i think, anyone confirm?!
Ned.
Give me a few mins - I'll email Grant.
Chris
Chris - did you get a reply?
