Just came across "Estfield", an Estonian Locost company.
Seems they do an aluminium chassis - look under "Builds"

Can't see it lasting more than 2 minutes before it cracks and breaks,he will get a bit more practice at welding anyway, with the torque of a

look up deneo on here see his photo page!
Good god thats scary...
Thats about the number of tubes I would use for a steel chassis....
An ali one would need a few more...not to mention the issues of strength
Seams to be a lot of welding and joins on joins.
- Credit to him for giving it a go like, and hope he's got his calcs right...?

...thought this would be "of interest"!
Love the name "estfield" too!
funny that because where work we have an ali built car trailer!! its years old been all round the country and is a hefty weight!! has it cracked?? oh
yes in loads of places and has been re-welded a numerous amounts.
think i would stick with a steel chassis.

hmm, welded nicely it would make a nice chassis for a show car. wleded nicely, i said...
still wouldn't drive it though
Perhaps he named it 'Estfield' knowing that the 'W' would soon crack and fall off the rest of the chassis
Ok for a show car I suppose but then the welding doesn't look too good from what I can see.
It would be useful to know when it is on the road so you can avoid driving in Estonia for the 2 days before the chassis collapses.
Is it just me that find the front suspension mount ever so slightly scary?
