Dude, Feel for you - Them's OTR have all been let down in some way by VOSA / DVLA or both.

On the plus side - You will be on the road in spring with an entire summer to make the itch a lifelong burn!

If its not until mid aprill then you have lots of time to ensure it passes first time out BUT will you get the DVLA sorted it time for the start of May?

Is it possible to do the dvla inspection before the sva?

Paul

Hi Rob,

I think MAC1ZR passed and got "DVLA"'d in a day, but could be wrong.

Someone posted about a month and half ago saying they'd done it, but I wouldn't how to search for it.

If I were you I would give the DVLA office a call and see if you can set it all up in readiness for a pass.

Having said all that I was all done on the road in a few days (I'm sure it was less than a week?) so it might not be a problem anyway?

It used to be reasonably easy to get SVA and registered in the same day but i think it's more difficult these days, well it seems it anyway.

I would ask for an inspection before SVA as it will save hassle after SVA.

Good luck by the way

If you've already had you inspection then no reason why not.

I could of done it if the co-operative person had DVLA Wimbledon hadn't selfishly decided to take my re-test pass day off work!
So had to go back Monday in the tintop to get the docs.

Damn, what a frustrating weekend that was!

Cheers,
James

I`ve already sent off the build up inspection form so hopefully the dvla bit will be quick.
The viento is booked in for a sprint track day on may 10th to find its limits!!
To cheer me up i went for a quick spin on my "private" road today, god its fast!!
