Bl**dy inspectors
Paul (Notts) - 4/7/08 at 04:37 PM

Not going to be able to head down to Bruntingthorpe this weekend Due to OFSTED inspectors deciding to inspect my School during the second to last week of term…

Having spent a lot of time getting my car ready for its first venture onto a track I will now be spending all weekend preparing for the inspection.

Oh well I think I will take the car our for a blast tonight as the weather looks good.

Thats really bad timing for you and your students as in my experience everyone tends to get a bit demob happy approaching the end of term so strange things can happen!

Good luck with your inspection hope all goes well!

Tell them you had plans long arranged and that you won't be available, and that next time they consider that other people have lives, even if they don't.

Think yourself lucky you know when they are coming.

We own a childrens day nursery and they give no notice at all, they turn up knock on the door and spend the day being a pain in the arse and then decide what they think!! ohh and by the way the guide lines they issue have goal posts attatched that move all the time depending on the inspector.we have no time for ofsted at all,in my mind they are a bunch of people who have no idea about the workings of a school or facility and they live in an ideal world with roses round the door.
Rant over

On the plus side you have two things:

A) the weather is pants this weekend.

B) you will know that you wont be inspected again for a few years so have peace of mind next year. Good luck with it.

How was the inspection Paul?

Well I’m satisfactory with good elements. We should find out about the whole school today.

For gods sake Paul, all they had to do was ask us and we could have told them that. In fact we know you are better than that, what do they want, BLOOD?

How's your bonnet doing.?

Remember to stand your ground and prepare to argue your poin after all they are summarising based upon a few days. I well know as I have undergone possibly 4 ALI inspections in the past 10 years. Best of luck
