I picked up a rather large old bandsaw at the weekend (I say picked up, however Im still aching from dragging the thing on rollers!)

Im after a single phase motor for it, ideally 4 pole 1000rpm and 1hp+. However it’s V-belt driven so pretty much anything can be geared to suit
