Machining required

Hi, i`m looing to get my aluminium dashboard casting to be machined.
I got the castings done at mayberry Reliance in kent.
Top notch work, will definately use them in the future.
Can anyone recommend anywhere around romford/ Essex to get it done?
It requires CNC milling to be done to front and rear face.

Can't help you with your problem.

I can't really see what your casting looks like, but is you are casting, then machining, have you costed machining from solid?

Got quotes but they were expensive, mainly beacuse it requires machining from both top and bottom.

I have just had some brackets done by a guy in Kent (Chatham) if it is any use to you. He does a lot of work for automotive purposes.

He did mine manually (only 2) but he has full CNC facilities. Not too sure on the price of CNC though.

I can U2U over his details if need be.

Yes could you send his details please, I collect the castings in kent so it is not too far out of the way.

Thanks for your reply.
Just discovered that the graphic overlay is bigger than my casting, combination of casting shrinkage and the 3d model of the original pattern not matching my 2d dxf file.
Looks like i`ll get the parts cnc machined in the future, i`ll get a quote from him.
