I have brought a battery cut off switch with two keys.

Am i missing the point? I thought it must turn and lock inposition but i it is spring loaded and turns the key back to the inserted position and springing out.

Please advise.

Odd, mine turns and stays there, I'd say it's time to ask for a replacement!

I had wondered that but thought i best ask on here in case i get told its standard and i am stupid, i will though recheck the switch in case i have not turned it enough to lock.

its circa 90 degrees to lock it!

Its now working.

I could see where it should lock but it was not getting that far due to a bit of plastic in the way.

A bit of brute force and it now locks at 91 degrees and stays locked.
