I have two choices... twist release, or button release.

Does anyone know if one is better than the other?

I always use the Jaguar XJ twist release as it can be worked by two fingers on the small T-handle.

Cheers... I can't find any pics of an umbrella XJ lever. Do you have one you could direct me towards? Thanks.

It puts me in mind of stopping a car by opening the boot and holding an umbrella out!

I've got an umbrella handbrake off a Ford Ranger pickup, circa 2002 ish. £20, collected from a local breaker.
