Just one rear chock!!!!!!!!!!!
So much money wasted on NOS etc and he couldn't afford a second one?

Just a boring shopping trolley, the old granny down the road might be interested in it
It's difficult too fathom out what most of the advert means, possibly written in sub-dialect of Max Powerish.
"More torque than a Boxster" - it's still a 206 diesel though
I can never understand how people can spend ££££s on cars like this when they could have spent the same money in one go on something that was better
in standard form....?
What puzzles me most is why it's in the Skoda Fabia section??
Might be a really silly question.....
but does NO even work in an oil burner? Never heard of that before...

First of all:
Why is it a advertised as Skoda? Fabia?
This was retrieved from the web:
Maximum power 89.2 PS (88.0 bhp) (65.6 kW)
@ 4000 rpm
as Standard
This was retrieved from Ecosse:
HDi Tuning ECU (Stage 2)
A fully programmable ECU that takes contol of the fuelling requirements. Works in hand with Stage 1 and allows gains of up to 55bhp over standard.
Also allows dash switchable control between standard and modified maps. Call to find out if these are compatible with your car. Price includes fitting
and rolling road tuning and print outs.
£550.00+vat (£632.50) Each
55BHP over standard
which gives us a total of
145BHP
So the NOS gave it another 65-100BHP
NOS does work in an oil burner.
I like the fact that it is in the skoda section
But it does seem that he doesnt have many reciepts?
And its a crappy 206, i hate these cars with a passion, had to drive one to cardiff and back from southampton in an eve/night but i did get to watch
some speed way in the stadium
Is there any way you can get these figures by just reprogramming an ECU?
If it is that simple, and spend only £650 to get an increase of 55BHP I'll get one.

I know diesel engines are a lot stronger than petrol ones but still isn't there a limit?
How reliable an engine like this will be?
If its cheaper and faster than a a GTI180, then why is he looking to swap it for one??
So lets get this right.
His friend sold the car to him then left the country. Engine rebuilt at 60K- either a bad engine or car has been thrashed to within an inch of its
life.
The garage where loads of money has been spent has said car is worth a lot.
Its way cheaper and faster than a GT1 180 - they must be OTT too then.
Its got 2 superchips fitted - strange, i thought you could only fit one at a time.

So this car is allready a scrappy one as it is advertised as 200+ hp
Hence all internals should be damaged.
Although I agree that I wouldnt touch this with a barge pole and the figures appear to be very generous I do believe he could achieve a 200hp+ output
from the engine using stock internals if this was achieved for short periods under NOS injection.
I cant remember if it stated it had a significant intercooler or water injection, but a lack of either of these would instantly make the figures
impossible IMO, IIRC.
£6200... he's avin a larf! Half of that would still be too much!
Sort of heavily modified(ish) and he's got it insured group 5
I thought that too... wouldn't want to test his insurance co on that one!
