Burglary Pease Pottage

I do not know if this is a place to advise this, but I have just been informed that a good mate of mine has just had her place burgled.

She has lost everything to her name, including jewelry, purfume and electrical equipment.

The worst bit is her late mums stuff was stolen too.

If anyone has been offered anything or knows of anything just let the Police know.

Thanks, even if we can not catch them, I would love just to get her sentimental bits back.

Sorry to hear about it. Made worse by losing everything

Last time I was burgled we lost a cd player, a bike and an old computer...

Hope she finds the important items at the very least

It the feeling of intrusion and the loss of irreplacable items of sentimental value that's the terrible thing in a burglary. The rest is just stuff and insurance can replace that.

Yes thanks.

I would like to see the sentimental bits back realy, she has been at a loss since she lost her mum but now this is realy giving her heartache.

I've never experienced it here, which is (in my opinion) lucky since the neighbourhood next to mine is pretty rough.

My mum and dad's house was burgled once and apart from the break in damage, all they took was the stuff that was left in the basket in the kitchen (MP3 player, camera and a broken phone). It's just annoying since it happened when my brother was in the house and he didn't know anything about it... Mind you, he is a copper, so what do they know about that stuff

Hope she gets her stuff back, or at least some peace from the situation...
