Hi guys,
I have bought a duratec steel flywheel (raceline, secondhand).
This flywheel don't have these small guide pins that steers the clutch plate. It has however small holes for them.
Is it possible to buy thes small pins? or should i make new ones on the lathe?
Would roll pins work?
Called "Dowls" better to salvage them off an old flywheel --- pretty well a standard size accross manufacturers.
^^ as above you should be able to find some in any old flywheel - I bet someone on here will have some spare
(I don't think I've got any left though )
or if your really stuck you could get some new ones, bound to be stocked by loads of people
burtons list them linky but I think £1.20 each is a bit steep

It is common for the diameter of the dowel holes in the flywheel to be slightly larger than the corresponding holes in the clutch. This arrangement means that the dowels are stepped and it prevents them from coming out during use.
^^^^ what the last boy said.
pretty sure I saw these for sale by Burton Power.
Thanks guys.
Now I know where to look.
